HOUSEPLANT EXPERT

Successful indoor plant expert and social media influencer Vladan Nikolic (Mr. Houseplant) was born on December 1, 1980 in Belgrade, Serbia. Vladan Nikolic (Mr. Houseplant) graduated at the Megatrend University in Belgrade, Serbia in 2005, with 2 degrees (management and international marketing). He spent his childhood in the municipality of New Belgrade with his parents and brother.

Vladan spent 9 years working in the non-profit sector for organizations such as Booz Allen Hamilton, IREX and CARE, working on humanitarian and development projects. He also worked for the Government of Serbia.

Vladan moved to the United States in 2017. He continued to work for non-profit organizations while continuing to develop his passion for indoor plants.

In 2020 Vladan founded Mr. Houseplant LLC, a business focused on helping plant parents with houseplant care and growth. Vladan provides houseplant consultations and workshops as well as free indoor plant growth advice on his social media channels. He provides advice on plant care, repotting, watering, fertilizing, propagation, and much more.
